Joint Closing Day 2009 - Sat 29th September
The Clubs Joint Closing Day was a great success and enjoyed by everyone who attended. In fine weather we played 14 ends of Mixed Rinks. The draw was overseen by Lady president Anne Paterson and the day was got underway by Vice President Graham Binnie.
The highest up rink was Alan Bellingham, Kay Winning, Mike Robinson & Seona Black.
The Runners up on count back were Nancy Cook, Margaret McIntyre, Graham Binnie & Ian Mochrie.
The winner of the Spider was Tom Monro
We all then sat down for a great Buffet Meal that had been prepared by the Ladies. (Thanks very much Ladies it was delicious!!)
This was followed by the presentation of Trophies, by Graham and Anne, for the seasons achievements (see recipients below)
Some of the members remained at the club for the entire evening and we all had a great time, until time was called!!.
